  1. Adani Total Gas: Adani Total Gas has announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 150 crore for the quarter ended June. The company’s revenue from operations witnessed a slight year-on-year growth of 2% to reach Rs 1,135 crore.
  2. Hero MotoCorp: On Tuesday, Hero MotoCorp reported a 12% decrease in total sales for July, with a total of 3,91,310 units sold. This figure is lower than the 4,45,580 units sold during the same period in the previous year. Domestic sales also experienced a decline, with 3,71,204 units sold in July 2023, compared to 4,30,684 units sold in July 2022, as stated by the company.
  3. Eicher Motors: The automobile company has disclosed the sales volume figures for its Royal Enfield motorcycles. In a notable performance, the total sales saw a remarkable year-on-year growth of 32%, reaching 73,117 motorcycles. This growth was primarily driven by robust domestic sales, which surged by an impressive 42% YoY, amounting to 66,062 units.
  4. Cholamandalam Investment: On Tuesday, the company reported a significant 28% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching Rs 726 crore during the first quarter of FY24. Additionally, the company’s assets under management (AUM) experienced substantial growth, rising by 40.12 percent compared to the previous year, amounting to Rs 1.15 lakh crore.
  5. Power Grid: On Monday, the board of state-owned company approved an investment proposal of Rs 554.91 crore for 85 MW solar power project to be located at Nagda in Madhya Pradesh.
  6. Zee Entertainment: IDBI Bank has taken its case to the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) in a move against Zee Entertainment. The bank is challenging an NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) order that dismissed its request to begin insolvency proceedings against the media conglomerate.
  7. Sula Vineyards: On Tuesday, prominent wine producer announced that they have received an excise duty notice amounting to Rs 116 crore from the Maharashtra excise department.
  8. RITES: As of August 1, Krishna Gopal Agarwal has taken over the position of Director/Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the company.
  9. Ashok Leyland: The nation’s second-largest commercial vehicle manufacturer has reported sales of 15,068 units for July 2023, indicating a significant increase of 10.6% compared to the same period last year.
  10. TVS Motor: In July 2023, the two-and-three-wheeler company achieved a sales volume of 3.26 lakh units, surpassing analysts’ expectations and marking a 4% growth compared to the same month in the previous year.
