Top 10 stocks for today - 2nd September, 2022

The Singapore Exchange’s Nifty futures traded 51 points, or 0.29%, higher at 17,619.5, indicating that the markets may have a good start on Friday. The following 10 stocks may see movement in their prices today:

  1. Hero MotoCorp:

In August 2022, the two-wheeler industry leader reported total sales of 4,62,608 units, a y-o-y rise of 1.92%. 4,53,879 units were sold by the corporation during the same time last year.

  1. Infosys:

The life sciences consulting and technology company BASE life science, based in Europe, has been acquired by the IT company. This move will increase Infosys’ presence in the Nordic region.

  1. Adani Enterprises:

From September 30, the Adani Group company will take Shree Cement’s spot in the Nifty 50 benchmark index of the National Stock Exchange.

  1. UPL:

The provider of agricultural solutions claimed that Mike Frank has been promoted to CEO. Frank will also serve on the board of directors for UPL Crop Protection.

  1. Aurobindo Pharma:

CuraTeQ Biologics, the drugmaker’s fully owned subsidiary, intends to spend over Rs300 crore to increase the capacity of biologics manufacturing facilities. The board of CuraTeQ Biologics gave its approval for the company’s activities to be expanded by the construction of a new, larger mammalian cell culture manufacturing facility.

  1. Eicher Motors:

In August 2022, Royal Enfield, a manufacturer of motorcycles, announced a 53% y-o-y rise in overall sales to 70,112 units. 45,860 units were sold by the company in the same month a year ago.

  1. Bharat Electronics:

The position of chairman and managing director (CMD) of the navratna defense PSU has been added to Dinesh Kumar Batra’s responsibilities as Director (Finance) & CFO.

  1. GMDC:

The government-run minerals company stated that it is thinking about conducting research to ascertain the economic potential of establishing a rare earth elements processing facility in Gujarat.

  1. Indian Bank:

The majority of consumer loans will now be more expensive because the state-run lender has increased the marginal cost of funds-based lending rates (MCLR) by 0.10% to 7.75% across tenors as of Saturday. Additionally, it updated the lending rates based on treasury bills.

  1. Ramco Systems:

The provider of enterprise aviation software disclosed that General Atomics Aeronautical Systems has awarded a contract to its US affiliate Ramco Systems Defense and Security Incorporated.
