Tata Power: Tata Power Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Tata Power, has signed a power delivery agreement (PDA) with Neosym Industry for a 26 MW AC group captive solar plant. Neosym Industry is an Indian manufacturer of gray and SG iron castings. The project at Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) will begin in March 2024, with an estimated annual capacity of 59 million units.

Escorts Kubota: The company’s agri machinery business segment will raise the prices of its tractors beginning September 16. Prices would rise differently among models, variants, and localities.

Ramco Cements: Out of a total capacity of 12 MW, the cement company has commissioned the balance capacity of 3 MW of waste heat recovery system at the Kolimigundla plant. As a result, the company’s overall working capacity of the waste heat recovery system has increased to 43 MW.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial: The non-banking financial company increased disbursements by 15% year on year to Rs 4,400 crore in August. Year-to-date (through August FY24), disbursements totaled at Rs 20,950 crore, a 22% increase over the previous year. 

Oil India: The board of directors of the state-run oil and gas company has approved a Rs 1,738 crore equity contribution in the joint venture company North East Gas Distribution corporation (NEGDCL). Oil India will own 49% of the joint venture formed to carry out the city gas distribution (CGD) projects, while Assam Gas Company would own the remaining 51%.

Tata Motors: The country’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer has got clearance from the Allotment Committee for the distribution of 4,55,218 ordinary shares to eligible employees in exchange for exercising stock options at a price of Rs 345 per share.

Cipla: Cipla South Africa, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cipla, has signed a binding term sheet to buy Actor Pharma (Pty) Ltd from Actor Holdings (Pty).

SpiceJet: SpiceJet, a low-cost carrier, issued over 48.1 million shares to nine aircraft lessors to settle outstanding debts of Rs 231 crore.

Delta Corp: Societe Generale, a European financial services organization, has purchased 23.42 lakh equity shares, or 0.88% of the casino gaming company, through open market transactions at an average price of Rs 182 per share. Zerodha Broking, on the other hand, sold 25.5 lakh shares, or 0.95% of the firm, at an average price of Rs 182.12 a share.

Mrs Bectors Food Specialties: Arnav Jain has been named Chief Financial Officer of the bakery products manufacturer, effective August 11, 2023. On September 29, the firm will conduct its 28th Annual General Meeting.
