UPL: The Agrochemicals major approved the terms for its ₹3,377.74-crore rights issuance during a meeting of the Rights issuance Committee. The sale includes 9,38,25,955 partially paid-up equity shares priced at ₹360 each, with a ₹358 premium per share upon full payment. Eligible shareholders can subscribe for one rights equity share for every eight fully paid-up equity shares held on November 26, 2024, the record date.
Tata Power: The company announced that it has formed a strategic relationship with Druk Green Power Corporation Ltd (DGPC), a subsidiary of Druk Holding and Investments Ltd, Bhutan’s sole power utility, to collaborate and create at least 5,000 MW of clean energy generation capacity in Bhutan.
JSW Steel: Steelmaker said that it has been declared the “Preferred Bidder” for the Codli Mineral Block XII in Dharbandora, Goa, following a forward auction held on November 12, 2024. The Goa Directorate of Mines and Geology made the statement on November 18.
Dr Reddy’s: The firm reported that the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) had completed a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) examination of its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing plant (CTO-2) in Bollaram, Hyderabad.
Wipro: IT giant announced a strategic relationship with Lineaje, a software supply chain security startup based in the United States, to improve the security of open-source components in enterprise software applications. This alliance followed Wipro Ventures’ investment in Lineaje. The alliance intends to address emerging cybersecurity concerns by leveraging Lineaje’s experience safeguarding software supply chains.
Godrej Properties: The Mumbai-based real estate developer has told the exchanges that it has purchased a 53-acre land parcel in Joka, Kolkata. The proposed project has an estimated income potential of ₹500 crore. This project is expected to have a development potential of 1.3 million square feet of saleable space, with mostly residential plotted construction.
