Vedanta Ltd Slides 1.48%

Vedanta Ltd fell 1.48% today to trade at Rs 259.45. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 0.46% to quote at 18782.02. The index is up 3.05 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, NMDC Ltd decreased 1.19% and National Aluminium Company Ltd lost 0.77% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 7.74 % over last one year compared to the 1.79% surge in benchmark SENSEX. Vedanta Ltd has added 4.26% over last one month compared to 3.05% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 0.92% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.9 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 6.95 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 440.75 on 11 Apr 2022.
