Volkswagen India opens all-women store in Coimbatore

Tuesday saw the official opening of Volkswagen’s first city store with only female employees.

According to news reports, the decision to launch the store is being made to support female talent in the automotive industry as well as inclusivity and diversity across the entire organization.

The All-Women City Store would concentrate on giving female employees the skills they need to assume more leadership roles and set new benchmarks in customer service in a joint effort with Ramani Cars Pvt Ltd.

Over 35 women would be involved in end-to-end operations at the vehicle dealer outlet spanning verticals including sales and after-sales, among others, according to a corporate statement.

The Taigun, Virtus, and Tiguan items, among others, are displayed in a four-car display at the All-Women City Store, according to the announcement.
