Wipro opens Cyber Defense Center in Germany

Wipro Limited announced the establishment of its Cyber Defense Center (CDC) in Dusseldorf, Germany. Wipro’s CDCs are strategically located around the world to provide localized support while also meeting customers’ cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.

With the increasing threat of cyber-attacks and the growing necessity of data protection, Wipro’s Cyber Defense Center, the 17th of its type, will provide its clients with round-the-clock cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and remediation assistance.

This center will employ Microsoft’s portfolio of cybersecurity technologies, specifically the Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for IOT (Internet of Things) solutions, as part of Wipro and Microsoft’s global cooperation.

The center will also give clients with customized cybersecurity exercises to teach them on real-world scenarios, as well as stress-test their cyber defenses to assess their overall cyber resilience.
