Wockhardt appoints Pramod Gupta as CFO; stock jumps ~1%

In its regulatory filing, Wockhardt Limited informed that the company has appointed Mr. Pramod Gupta as the new Chief Financial Officer effective from April 4, 2022. The board of directors, in its meeting, has accepted the request of Mr. Deepak Madnani to relinquish his responsibilities as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

Mr. Gupta is a seasoned business leader with over 3 decades of experience in Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and business management across diverse industries in organizations such as Hindustan Unilever, Novartis, DHL Express, Microsoft, and Rivigo (Logistics tech start-up), and Arvind Fashions. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Wockhardt’s stock jumped 0.61% at Rs290 against its previous close of Rs288.25 on NSE. It opened at Rs290 and hit the same high so far.
