Wonderla Holidays signs land lease agreement with Odisha Govt; Stock zooms 5%

Wonderla Holidays Limited has informed to the exchanges that it has signed an agreement with the Government of Odisha on even date for leasing land about 50 acres towards development of amusement park project in Kumarbasta Village, Khorda District, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Wonderla Holidays operates three Wonderla brand amusement parks in South India. The company opened its first park in Kochi in 2000, second one in 2005 at Bangalore and the third one in Hyderabad in April 2016. The 3 parks of Wonderla have a variety of rides available for the patrons to enjoy. 

At around 9:49 AM, Wonderla Holidays was trading at Rs239.25 per share up by Rs12 or 5.28% from its previous closing of Rs227.25 per share on the BSE.

On Thursday, the scrip opened at Rs230.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs242.05 and Rs229.45 respectively so far today.
