Accuracy Shipping logs 189% yoy growth in Q3FY22 PAT at Rs10.20cr; stock skids ~3.5%

Q3 Results

With the results announcement coming to an end this week, Accuracy Shipping Ltd. posted its results for the quarter and 9 months ended December 2021 through its investor presentation.

The company reported total revenue from operations of Rs218.70 crore for Q3FY22 against Rs113.60 crore for Q3FY21, registering a growth of 92.40% yoy. Its revenue for the 9M period ended December 2021 stood at Rs569.10 crore against Rs240 crore in the 9 months ended December 2020, up by 137.2% yoy.

Accuracy reported an EBITDA of Rs18 crore in the quarter ended December 2021, against Rs10.10 crore in the previous corresponding quarter, up by 78.4% yoy. Its 9M EBIDTA for the period December 2021 expanded substantially by 114.10% yoy at Rs45.70 crore against Rs21.30 crore for the corresponding 9M period. EBITDA margin for the current quarter and nine months ended December 2021 was 18% and 8.02%.

PAT for Q3FY22 was Rs10.20 crore against Rs3.5 crore in the previous corresponding quarter, logging growth of 189.20% yoy. PAT for the nine months ended December 2021 was Rs22.50 crore against Rs4.70 crore for nine months ended December 2020, registering a growth of 384.10% yoy.

Accuracy shipping was trading in lower circuit despite its strong quarterly numbers at Rs238.35, down by Rs8.70 or 3.52% against its previous closing price of Rs247.05 on NSE. It touched day’s high and low of Rs243 and Rs227.95 respectively.
