The promoter group's stake in Airtel, which includes the Mittal family and Singtel, would also stay at 55.30%.

Following the equity sale, Singtel's effective stake in Bharti Airtel will fall to 29.70% from 31.40%. Its decreased investment in Airtel will include a 19.2% (up from 17.5%) indirect stake through Bharti Telecom and a 10.5% (down from 13.9%) direct stake.
