Retail prices of edible oils show downward trend

As per data collected by the Department of Consumer Affairs, the prices of groundnut oil have fallen by Rs. 10 a kilo from Rs. 112 a month back to Rs. 102 on 29th September.

Retail prices of major edible oils have shown a downward trend in Delhi in the last one month.

As per data collected by the Department of Consumer Affairs, the prices of groundnut oil have fallen by Rs. 10 a kilo from Rs. 112 a month back to Rs. 102 on 29th September.

Prices of mustard oil have come down by Rs. 9 per kilo in the same period, from Rs. 70 a month back to Rs. 61 now.

Prices of vanaspati have fallen by Rs. 10 in a month, from Rs. 62 to Rs. 52 per kg.

Prices of edible oils and vanaspati have generally fallen in other major cities also in the last few weeks.
