Agri Buzz: Castor Crop Seen Dropping By 3.5% To 16.94 Lakh Tonnes

The Solvent Extractors Association of India or SEA every year, through an agency assess the castor seed crop for the benefit of the members, producer of castor oil and exporters. The revised the estimate of All Indias castor crop for the year 2021-22 is down to 16.94 Lakh tones from earlier estimate ( April Month) of 17.46 Lakh tones & last years estimate of 17.56 Lakh Tonnes. The All India Yield is estimated to be down to 2088 Kg/Hectare from 2152 Kg/Hectare estimated in the April month. In annual terms, the current crop marks a slide of 3.5%. Powered by Commodity Insights
