As people await the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N, stock up 0.99%

27 Jun 2022 , 01:07 PM

Today is the official launch day for the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N in India. One of the most eagerly awaited debuts from Mahindra this year is the updated incarnation of the classic Scorpio SUV. The Indian automaker has been teasing the vehicle for a while, and today (June 27) at 5:30 pm IST, it will officially unveil the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N. After the XUV 700 SUV, the Mahindra Scorpio-N will be the second vehicle to feature the new brand logo.

The new Scorpio-N will be marketed in the nation alongside the current model, the automobile manufacturer has already stated.

A fully new design is present on the Mahindra Scorpio-N in 2022. The new SUV’s front grille is the first thing you’ll notice. A new front grille for the new Scorpio has been meant to resemble the one on the XUV 700. A redesigned Mahindra emblem, twin-pod LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, and C-shaped LED DRLs are further features of the vehicle.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N’s measurements for 2022 will be 1.197m wide, 1.870m tall, and 4.662m long. The SUV will feature a 2,750mm wheelbase.

Mahindra has entirely redesigned the cabin of the 2022 Scorpio, which will come with two seat options: captain and bench seats. Additionally, there will be AC vents and a blower control in the second row. Seat pockets and a USB-C charging port will also be available to second-row passengers.

Additionally, the business has said that, unlike the existing model, the third row of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N would include a bench seat. More cargo room may be created by folding the bench seats, and the second-row seat has a one-touch fold and tumbles feature that makes it easier for passengers to access the third row.

The newest SUV also comes with a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and AdrenoX UI. A 3D sound system, dual-zone climate control, an electric sunroof, and several drive modes are all included in the vehicle.

According to rumors, the new Mahindra Scorpio-N will have two engine choices: a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2L four-cylinder diesel engine. The engine might be compatible with both a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual transmission. The business might potentially provide diesel variations with a 4X4 drivetrain choice.

The base model of the new SUV is anticipated to cost roughly Rs13 lakh, making the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N slightly more expensive than the current model (ex-showroom). Mahindra Scorpio-N’s high-end model in 2022 could cost around 20 lakh.
