Bajaj Auto recorded a total sales of 3,62,470 units in December 2021, declining by 2% from sales of 3,72,532 units in December last year. Sales were lower in the two-wheeler segment and exports.
From the total sales in December this year, the company delivered sales of 1,45,979 units in the domestic market up by 5% yoy, however, exports declined by 7% yoy to 2,16,491 units.
The company posted a total of two-wheeler sales of 3,18,769 units in December 2021 down by 6% from 3,38,584 units in the same month last year.
In its commercial vehicles, the company logged sales of 43,701 units in December 2021 rising by 29% from 33,948 units sold in December 2020.
Between April – December 2021, Bajaj Auto sales were at 33,31,782 units up by 19% from 28,03,250 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.
At around 12.51 pm, Bajaj Auto was trading at Rs3284.65 per piece up by Rs33.85 or 1.04% on Sensex. The stock was near the day’s high of Rs3251.25 per piece.
