Britannia Industries names Varun Berry as Executive Vice-Chairman and MD; ropes in Ranjeet Kohli as Executive Director -; CEO

Britannia Industries Limited informed that the board has appointed Varun Berry as Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director with immediate effect.

BIL has also announced the hiring of Rajneet Kohli as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 26, 2022. Varun Berry will be Rajneet Kohli’s boss.

Rajneet has held various top leadership positions at Asian Paints and Coca-Cola over his 25-year career, and he joins Britannia from India’s largest food services firm, Jubilant FoodWorks (JFL).

Jubilant FoodWorks has generated consistent profitable growth and emerged as the country’s largest QSR chain, with over 1600 locations, under his leadership. Furthermore, he has been influential in driving various revolutionary shifts that are strongly rooted in technology.

At around 9.18 AM, Britannia Industries was trading at Rs3,813.05 per piece, up by 0.56% from its previous closing of Rs3,792 on the BSE.
