Fortis Healthcare climbs ~2% after CRISIL upgrades credit rating on its bank facilities

Fortis Healthcare Limited informed the exchanges Saturday that rating agency CRISIL has upgraded the long-term rating on Rs110.8 crore total bank facilities to ‘AA-’ from ‘A+’ for the private hospital’s chain, and placed the rating on watch with developing implications.

Further, the short-term rating has been upgraded to A1+, from ‘A1’ and placed the rating on watch with developing implications.

The company stock was bullish on Monday and at around 1.12 pm, Fortis Healthcare Ltd was trading at Rs245.85 per piece up by Rs4.55 or 1.89% from its previous closing of Rs241.30 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs246.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs247 and Rs239.75 respectively.
