HDFC AMC offloads 1.1 lakh equity shares in Carborundum Universal via open market; Stock surges

Carborundum Universal stock traded in the green on Wednesday. The stock has been in limelight after HDFC Asset Under Management (AMC) offloaded a portion of its stake in the company.

HDFC AMC sold about 1.1 lakh equity shares in the company via open market transactions. The stake sale was carried out on February 18, 2022.

With that, HDFC AMC’s stake in the company has declined to 5.59% from the previous 5.65%.

At around 11.35 am, the company’s stock was trading at Rs872.20 per piece higher by 0.84% on BSE.

The stock has touched an intraday high and low of Rs877.40 per piece and Rs848 per piece respectively.
