Shree Krishna Paper Mills suffers fire accident at waste paper godown in Jaipur; Stock dips 1%

Shree Krishna Paper Mills & Industries Ltd has informed that on April 09, 2022 morning at around 8 A.M., a major fire accident took place at the waste paper godown of the plant situated at Plot No.SPL-A,RIICO Industrial Area, Village& Post: Keshwana, Tehsil : Kotputli, District: Jaipur (Rajasthan).

As per regulatory filing, at the time of submitting this intimation, efforts are continuing to control the fire with the help of Fire Brigade, said company.

Further, the company informed that there is no loss or injury to human life. However, the fire has resulted into major damage of raw material stored in the waste paper godown thereby disturbing the entire operations.

“We would like to clarify that the Company has adequate insurance coverage and has already informed the Insurance Company about the incident. The Company is in the process of ascertaining the actual loss caused due to the fire”, said company.

At around 10:37 AM on Monday, Shree Krishna Paper Mills & Industries was trading at Rs24.50 apiece down by Rs0.2 or 0.81% on the BSE.
