Tata Motors clocks group sales of 3,34,884 units during Q4FY22; stock plunges ~4%

The Tata Motors Group’s global wholesales in Q4FY22, including Jaguar Land Rover, were reported at 3,34,884 units, higher by 2%, as against Q4FY21.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q4FY22 stood at 1,22,147 units, up by 12% yoy as against Q4FY21.

The company’s global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q4FY22 were reported at 2,12,737 units, down by 4% yoy as compared to Q4 FY22.

The company stated that global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 89,148 vehicles (JLR number for Q4FY22 includes CJLR volumes of 12,622 units). Jaguar wholesales for the quarter reported at 19,570 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were 69,578 vehicles.

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs435.50 down by Rs16.55 or 3.66% from its previous closing of Rs452.05 on the BSE. Its scrip has touched day’s high and low of Rs451.30 and Rs435.10 respectively, so far.
