 The S&P 500 rebounded on Wednesday, interrupting a five-session losing streak, following a policy decision by the Federal Reserve, which hiked interest rates in line with market expectations in order to combat growing inflation without triggering a recession.

The Federal Reserve hiked its benchmark interest rate by 75 basis points, the highest since 1994, and forecasted a weakening economy and growing unemployment in the months ahead. Due to the rally in US markets, our markets are expected to open higher today.

Here are the top 10 stocks for today:

  1. Yes Bank:

On June 15, the stock finished in the green. Yes Bank will have its annual general meeting on July 15, 2022, in which it would seek shareholder approval to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore using debt instruments.

  1. Infosys:

The company is expected to open 4 new offices in tier 2 cities in order to move closer talent pool.

  1. HDFC:

To clean its books before the merger, HDFC is all set to sell major distressed accounts to Assets Care and Reconstruction Enterprise.

  1. Equitas Small Finance Bank:

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has authorized the extension of P.N. Vasudevan’s tenure as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Equitas Small Finance Bank (SFB) for one year, beginning July 23, as requested by the bank, the SFB told exchanges on June 15.

  1. Bharti Airtel:

With the government now clearing the 5G spectrum auction. The stock will remain in focus today.

  1. Adani Transmission:

The $700 million revolving facility of Adani Transmission has been designated as a “green loan.”

  1. State bank of India:

SBI has hiked its minimum interest rate on home loans to 7.55%

MRPL is India’s largest exporter of jet fuel. Jet fuel prices hit a record high today. Asian Refining Margins above 30$ again

  1. OIL India:

The stock is near a recent swing high and as crude prices fell the stock may rise from a crucial support zone.

  1. ONGC:

The was again the top loser in the Nifty 50 segment. As crude prices fall due to expected US FED announcements, the stock will be in focus today.
