ABB Power Products reported 23.82% increase in total revenues for the Jun-21 quarter on consolidated basis at Rs783.76cr. On a sequential basis, revenues were down -22.82% compared to Rs1,015.53cr revenues in Mar-21 quarter due to COVID 2.0 impact.

The rail data centres and utility orders were up 31.4% yoy. The company continues to be optimistic about sectors like renewables, rail, transmission and data centres. As on Jun 2021 end, the company had an order backlog of Rs.4,771cr, which is in the queue for ongoing execution.

Net profit for the Jun-21 quarter was up 49.54% at Rs16.30cr on a yoy basis, but on a sequential basis, the PAT was lower due to the impact of COVID 2.0 on the revenues leading to lower fixed cost absorption.

The operational EBITDA for the Jun-21 quarter stood at Rs46cr with EBITDA margins of 5.8%. for the Jun-21 quarter the PBT margins stood at 2.7% while the PAT margins stood at 2.1%. The NPM is higher than the Jun-20 NPM of 1.72% but lower than the Mar-21 NPM at 3.88% comparable on a sequential basis.
