TriVeda Capital, a Sebi-registered Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), intends to raise a Rs200 crore AIF corpus to invest in pre-approved development projects.
The fundraising plan includes keeping an additional Rs50 crore as a green-shoe option. Bangalore Opportunity, a Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), focuses on plotted development and residential assets in major South Indian metropolitan areas.
The fund aims to amass $1 billion in AUM over the next five years and is targeting a first close in coming quarters.
In Bangalore, the firm already has a pipeline of two plotted transaction deals totaling 25 acres and 4 acres, respectively.
P. Ravindra Pai, MD, Century Real Estate Holding, and Raj S. Inamdar, founder of Sorani Capital LLC, founded TriVeda Capital, a new-age Indian real estate investment platform.
Both partners have completed over $2 billion in transactions and managed an active development portfolio totaling more than 15 million square feet.
