PTC India Financial Services appoints four new Independent Directors

PTC India Ltd.(Promoter/holding Company) on 28th March, 2022 for the appointment of common Independent Directors on the Board of PTC India Financial Services Ltd. (PFS/ the Company), the Board through resolution passed by circulation on 29th March, 2022 has approved the appointment of Mrs. Sushama Nath (Independent Director of PTC India Limited), Sh. Devendra Swaroop Saksena (Independent Director of PTC India Limited), Sh. Ramesh Narain Misra (Independent Director of PTC India Limited) and Sh. Jayant Purushottam Gokhale (Independent Director of PTC India Limited) as Independent Directors on the Board of the Company with immediate effect.

None of the above have any relationship with any of the Directors of the Company and are not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority.

Ms. Sushama Nath, IAS (Retd.) (IAS: 1974; MP) is former Secretary Ministry of Finance, Government of India. She is an Independent Director on the Board of PTC w.e.f. 20th December, 2017.

Sh. Devendra Swaroop Saksena is an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Ltd. w.e.f. 30th July, 2018 . He is IRS (Retd.) ( 1979) . He is ex- Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax.Mumbai

Sh. Ramesh Narain Misra is an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Ltd. w.e.f. 7th December, 2018. He is an Engineer from MNRE Allahabad and Masters in Finance from IGNOU, superannuated from post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) SJVN after a career of 38 years. Started his career from NHPC and became Director (Civil) before moving out to become CMD SJVN.

Sh. Jayant Gokhale, is a well-known Chartered Accountant is partner in M/s. Gokhale & Sathe , Chartered Accountants and has lot of experience in the field of Audit and Accounts / Finance. He is an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Ltd. w.e.f. 16th March, 2017.
