Cera Sanitaryware acquires Anjani Tiles; gains 3.5%

The Ahmedabad-based Cera Sanitaryware Ltd has acquired 100% shares of Andhra Pradesh-based Anjani Tiles Ltd.

Shared of Cera Sanitaryware Ltd  ended higher 3.5% higher at Rs. 1,914.25, with trading volume stands at 1,573 shares.

The Ahmedabad-based Cera Sanitaryware Ltd has caquired 100% shares of the Andhra Pradesh-based Anjani Tiles Ltd.

“Now, Anjani Tiles Ltd has become our subsidiary with immidiate effect,” said the company in a BSE filing.

Anjani Tiles has alloted its 51,00,000 equity shares at par out of the total 1,00,00,000 equity shares to Cera Sanitaryware.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1859.65 and touched a high and low of Rs. 1949.3 and Rs. 1857 respectively. A total of 11543(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2404.98 crore.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2952.05 on 15-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1550 on 17-Dec-2014. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1900 and Rs. 1808 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.75 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.04 % and 25.21 % respectively.
The stock traded above its 200 DMA.
