Paytm’s lending business has scaled up by 401% (y-o-y basis) with 4.4 million loan disbursals through the platform valuing Rs 21.8 billion (y-o-y growth of 365%). This stellar growth in Paytm’s lending business is in continuation of the significant growth seen in the past quarter, the company said in the filing on Monday.
Q3 FY 2022 GMV stood at INR 2,501 billion ($33.6 billion), which recorded a growth of 123% (y-o-y basis) as compared to FY 2021. This GMV has already been the highest of all of FY 2021, led by significant non-UPI GMV growth. The growth of GMV continues even after the festive season.
User engagement witnessed 37% y-o-y growth with 64.4 million average monthly transacting users in the quarter, the company said in the filing.
Offline payments leadership strengthens with 2 million devices deployed. The total number of devices has increased from 0.9 million to approximately 1.3 million in September 2021 and to 2 million at the end of December 2021.
