Here is the important stock market news to watch out for today.

  • Markets to open on a flat to positive note; support @18,050, resistance at 18,400.
  • FIIs sold shares worth Rs855.47cr (cash), sold Rs115.31cr in index futures.
  • US markets were closed for holiday. Asian Markets opened in the green.
  • Brent crude was trading 0.22% higher at $86.67 per barrel.
  • Prestige Estates has registered highest ever quarterly sales (Q3FY22) of Rs42,676 mn, up 111% yoy and has clocked highest ever collections of Rs24,316 mn, up 70% yoy, resultant 9MF22 sales at record Rs71,134 mn and collections at Rs50,054 mn, up 97% and 51% yoy respectively.
  • Tech Mahindra: The company approved to buy Com Tech Co IT Ltd for 310 million euros and buy 25% stake each in SWFT Technologies, and Surance.
  • Bajaj Finance will announce its quarterly earnings on Tuesday.
  • Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company: The Company is proposing to make a strategic investment in the equity shares of Payswiff Technologies Private Limited (Payswiff) up to a sum not exceeding Rs450cr in one or more tranches.
  • Vikas Lifecare is pleased to share that its recent acquisition Genesis Gas Solutions received orders totalling ~ Rs55 Million (i) for supplying 40,800 Natural Gas Meters, and (ii) for laying Pipeline and commissioning of Meter (Last Mile Connectivity) from Aavantika Gas Limited, a Joint Venture of GAIL (India) Limited & Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
  • IRB Agro: The company's board has approved an investment of up to Rs40cr in Equity Shares and/or Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) of IFB Refrigeration Limited in one or more tranches for a minority stake.
  • Birla Group has announced about the capacity expansion of RCCPL Private Limited (RCCPL), wholly owned material subsidiary of the Company by setting up of a 3.90 million tons Greenfield Integrated Cement Plant at Mukutban (Maharashtra) with 40 MW Captive Power Plant and 10.60 MW Waste Heat Recovery System.
  • Vikas Ecotech: The company reported higher profit at Rs3.42cr in Q3FY22 against Rs0.01cr in Q3FY21, revenue jumped to Rs75.26cr from Rs28.39cr yoy.
  • Angel One: The company reported sharply higher profit at Rs164.54cr in Q3FY22 against Rs73.16cr in Q3FY21, revenue surged to Rs597.3cr from Rs306.79cr yoy.
  • Dilip Buildcon: The four employees who were taken in custody by investigating agency has been released and now nobody from the company is under custody of investigating agency as of now. The project 'four laning of Yavatmal to Wardha (Package-III) section of NH-361 under NHDP Phase -IV on Hybrid Annuity mode in Maharashtra' has been completed.
  • HFCL: The company reported lower consolidated profit at Rs81.1cr in Q3FY22 against Rs85.1cr in Q3FY21, revenue fell to Rs1,215.2cr from Rs1,277.4cr yoy.
  • Strides Pharma Science: The company's subsidiary Strides Pharma Global Pte Limited, Singapore received USFDA approval for Oseltamivir Phosphate for oral suspension.
  • Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem: The company reported higher profit at Rs22.8cr in Q3FY22 against Rs20.87cr in Q3FY21, revenue jumped to Rs104.67cr from Rs80.1cr yoy.
