Agri Buzz: SEA Says Vegetable Oil Import Falls By 15% On Year In May 2022

The Solvent Extractors Association of India has compiled the Import data of Vegetable Oils (edible & non-edible) for the month of May 2022. Import of vegetable oils during May 2022 is reported at 1,061,416 tons compared to 1,249,648 tons in May 2021, consisting 1,005,547 tons of edible oils and 55,869 tons of non-edible oils i.e. down by 15%. The overall import of vegetable oils during first seven months of oil year 2021-22, Nov21.- May 22 reported at 7,768,990 tons compared to 7,677,998 tons during the same period of last year i.e. Up by 1%.Powered by Commodity Insights
