Apollo Hospitals acquires 60% stake in AyurVAID for Rs 26.4 crore

According to a news release, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. on Wednesday paid Rs26.4 crore to buy a 60% ownership in the AyurVAID chain of Ayurvedic hospitals.

The investment will be used to update current centres, establish new centres, reinforce enterprise platforms, and support digital health efforts, according to the Apollo Group’s regulatory filing.

The goal is to reach Rs100 crore in the following three years, starting with an estimated income of over Rs15 crore for FY23 for AyurVaid, it added.
