Akzo Nobel India Limited (Akzo) reported revenue of Rs700.4cr for Q4FY18, a growth of 10% yoy. Transition to GST and higher input costs compressed operating profit. Consequently, EBITDA for the quarter declined by 6.4% yoy to Rs69.9cr. EBITDA margin contracted 178bps yoy to 10%. PAT from continuing operations dropped 32.7% to Rs46.17cr. Considering discontinued operations, PAT for the quarter stood at Rs237.86cr compared to Rs72.65cr in the same period a year ago.

Akzo Nobel India Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 1,921.50, down by 5.4 points or 0.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 1,926.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1,919 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1,929.30 and Rs. 1,917.05 respectively. So far 2,339 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The stock is currently trading below its 50 DMA.
