Reliance General Insurance wins Global Risk Award

RGICL is the only Indian company amongst various award categories that has won the award

Reliance General Insurance Company (RGICL), part of Reliance Capital Limited, has won the prestigious award for ‘Risk Management Service Provider of the Year’ from the Institute of Risk Management (IRM), United Kingdom.

This was announced by Rakesh Jain, Chief Executive Officer, Reliance General Insurance Company.

The Risk Management Service Provider of the Year Award, part of Global Risk Awards – 2013 by IRM, UK, was bestowed on Reliance General Insurance in recognition of its strong service delivery and efficient risk management services at a glittering ceremony in London recently.

Commenting on the company’s feat, Jain said, “It is a great honour to be chosen as the winner of the Risk Management Service Provider of the Year Award. This award is a testimony of our endeavour to provide robust service delivery and efficacious risk management services for our customers to meet their financial goals. We will continue to improve our services and help the customers meet their long-term financial objectives.”

RGICL is the only Indian company amongst various award categories that has won the award. Other contestants in the grand finale for the above award were AON, Marsh Risk Consulting, Stratex Systems and Zurich Risk Engineering, all from UK.

Supported by the City of London Corporation the awards were judged by a panel of more than 30 senior IRM Fellows and members from over hundreds of applications across the world. As many as 350 leading international risk professionals gathered to recognize and celebrate world class risk management.
