SBI Mutual Fund is distributing 0.1 million cloth bags through retail chain Big Bazaar outlets in Mumbai

On World Environment Day, 5th June, SBI Mutual Fund is distributing 0.1 million cloth bags through retail chain Big Bazaar outlets in Mumbai between 5th and 10th of June.
Keeping in mind the hazards caused to environment due to disposal of plastic bags, SBI Mutual Fund is promoting cloth bags instead of plastic carry-bags. "Cloth bags offer an earth-friendly alternative to plastic bags. Many countries and corporate across the globe, have taken steps towards energy conservation," said Deepak Chatterjee, managing director, SBI Mutual Fund.
SBI Mutual is a joint venture between State Bank of India, India's largest bank, and Amundi of France. The fund house has over 5.4 million investors.
