Claim was also preferred for the sum insured but the insurer was not settling the claim in reasonable time. A consumer complaint was filed before District Forum by the insurer.
The insurer in a written agreement said that the insurance certificate which was presented by the beneficiary in the consumer complaint was forged. In connection with that inquiry documents of the insurer were seized by the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation). Other allegations of the complainants were also denied, the reports concluded.
