PotliArts sources, curates and researches the best in Indian Tribal and Folk Art and Craft by combing the villages of India and spotting the many talented award-winning artisans of India.
Weavers, painters and tribal and folk artisans are fast vanishing and PotliArts aims to revive their talented work.
Folk paintings on display and sale include Patachitra Orissa, Kalamkari, Mithila, West Bengal Kalighat while Tribal paintings include Saora, Santhal, Gond and Chitakathi.
On display are organic khadi handwoven saris of Taan Baan of Rta Kapur Chishti, Bhujodi Kutch handwoven shawls and stoles of Vankar Vishram Valji, PotliArts curations of handwoven Alpona, Ajrakh, Kalamkari and Kanjeevaram saris and dupattas, West Bengal tribal saris and jewellery by Manas Ghorai, Tanka furnishings and vintage embroideries and Banjara nomadic jewellery,
