Aban Offshore resumes operations at “Aban III” rig; Stock gains 1.5%

The operations of this rig were suspended on April 13, 2021, due to an outbreak of Covid-19.

Aban Offshore Limited informed the exchanges Saturday that it has resumed operations at one of its drilling rigs “Aban III”. The operations of this rig were suspended from April 13, 2021, due to an outbreak of Covid-19.

Aban Offshore Limited on April 17 had resumed operations at one of its drilling rigs “Aban IV”, whose operations were suspended owing to an outbreak of Covid-19 from April 7, 2021.

Aban Offshore provides offshore drilling services to oil companies, including state-owned ONGC.

At around 10.02 am, Aban Offshore Ltd was trading at Rs29.20 per piece up Rs0.45 or 1.57% from its previous closing of Rs28.75 per piece on the BSE.
