Arvind Ltd reported fall of 33.48% in top line sales for the Sep-20 quarter at Rs1,305.17cr. The operating profits for the quarter ended Sep-20 was down 60.12% at Rs48.78cr while net the bottom line turned into a net loss of Rs5.85cr in the Sep-20 quarter as compared to a net profit of Rs49.86cr in the Sep-19 quarter.
This had an overall impact on the margins of Arvind Fashions too. For the Sep-20 quarter, the operating profit margins or OPM was up down by nearly 250 basis points at 3.74% on the back of lower sales revenues in the quarter on account of COVID impact. However, the net profit margins or NPM slipped into the negative at -0.45% in the Sep-20 quarter as against 2.53% in the Sep-19 quarter.
