Bafna Pharma rallies 13% after getting renewal certificate from MHRA

The pharma company has received its renewal certificate from Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), London.

Shares of Bafna Pharmaceuticals zoomed over 13 percent to Rs. 28.25 as the company received its renewal certificate from Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), London.

The stock has hit a high of Rs. 29.40 and low of Rs. 25.25 on BSE today. The total traded quantity was 1.75 lakh shares and two-week average quantity is 0.16 lakh.

On Wednesday, the BSE benchmark index, the Sensex opened with a positive gap of 36-odd points at 26,517. The BSE index soon firmed up and traded around last Friday's close (26,770-odd level) for most part of the morning session.

The Sensex finally ended with a gain of 359 point. Thus reversing its six-day losing streak wherein the index had shed 1,368 points.

The NSE Nifty surged past the 8,150-level to a high of 8,152 towards the fag end of the trading day, before settling with a solid 102 point gain at 8,124.

The India VIX (Volatility) index plunged over 5 percent to 17.0775.
