Cochin Shipyard extends suspension of normal operations up to May 30, 2021; Stock gains over 1%

The company had first temporarily suspended operations except for essential services from May 08, 2021, in order to contain the spread of the second wave of Covid-19 Pandemic.

Cochin Shipyard Limited has extended the temporary suspension of normal operations of the company up to May 30, 2021, in order to contain the spread of the second wave of Covid-19 Pandemic.

The company had first temporarily suspended operations except for essential services for the period from May 08, 2021, to May 16, 202 and later extended in until May 23. 2021.

“In view of the instructions of Government of Kerala, dated May 21, 2021, the temporary suspension of normal operations of the company stands extended up to May 30, 2021,” company said in a regulatory filing on Sunday.

At around 10.14 AM, Cochin Shipyard Ltd was trading at Rs390.10 per piece up Rs5.00or 1.30% from its previous closing of Rs385.10 per piece on the BSE.
