Despite a week of gains, foreign funds flow out over Rs.3,300 crore in June

Debt markets was a different story with foreign funds investing Rs. 1,500 crore in India during June.

Better returns from Asian peers and worries about a slowdown in India have resulted in foreign funds offloading stocks in India resulting in a pull-out of over Rs. 3,300 crore in June itself, says a report. Debt markets was a different story with foreign funds investing Rs. 1,500 crore in India during June.
 
January saw Rs.33,688 crore coming into India and in May there was an outflow of Rs. 14,272 crore. Net investment by overseas fund since Jan this year stands at Rs. 78,244 crore including investments in debt and equity market.
