Emami Paper to start partial manufacturing operation at Odisha; stock surges 5%

Shares of Emami Paper Mills hit 5% upper circuit at Rs56.95 on the BSE. The company obtained special permission from the District Magistrate and started partial operation of manufacturing facilities at Balasore (Odisha).

Also, as per Business continuity plan, it has adopted Work from Home policy to the extent possible.

“We are closely monitoring the situation and would take necessary actions as might be required in the then prevailing circumstances,” Emami Paper Mills said.

The stock is currently trading at Rs56.95 up by Rs2.7 or 4.98% from its previous closing of Rs54.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs56 and has touched a high and low of Rs56.95 and Rs56 respectively.
