FPI and FII shareholding limit increased to 49% in JSW Holdings

The total shareholding limit for registered Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) and registered Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in JSW Holdings Ltd was increased from 24% to 49% of the paid-up equity share capital of the company.

The total shareholding limit for registered Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) and registered Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in JSW Holdings Ltd was increased from 24% to 49% of the paid-up equity share capital of the company.

Special resolution was passed by the members of the company with requisite majority through postal ballot for approval of increase in limit of total shareholding of FPIs and FIIs put together.

The voting of members through postal ballot was completed on November 13, 2017 as per Regulation 44 (3) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and the report dated November 13, 2017 on Postal Ballot by the Scrutinizer.

JSW Holdings Limited is a Core Investment Company. The company is engaged in investing and financing. The company's products and services include dividend, interest and pledge fees. It grants loans/advances and provides guarantees/ securities to only its group companies.

The stock is trading at a price of Rs 1900, up by 1.10% or Rs 21 on NSE at 11.30 pm.
