Gloomy Day! BHEL, TTK Healthcare, 13 other scrips hit 52-week low

Benchmark equity indices failed to claw back into positive territory. The NSE Nifty opened at 7,977 hitting a high of 7,979 and low of 7,911, before ending with a loss of 24 points at 7,931.

A total of 15 stocks registered a fresh 52-week low on NSE are ABG Shipyard, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Ashapura Intimates Fashion, Bharat Heavy Electricals, Birla Cotsyn (India), Global Offshore Services, JM Financial, Rallis India, Salzer Electronics, Software Technology Group International, TTK Healthcare, Umang Dairies, Visesh Infotecnics.

The BSE Sensex opened at 26,239, touched an intra-day high of 26,256 and low of 26,042. It finally ended with a loss of 52 points at 26,118.

The NSE Nifty opened at 7,977 hitting a high of 7,979 and low of 7,911, before ending with a loss of 24 points at 7,931.

The India VIX (Volatility) index was down 0.94% to 15.4875.
