It informed the exchanges on Friday that though there is no significant reduction in demand, the capacity to fulfil the orders has been reduced mainly on account of limited manpower and logistics challenges caused by lockdown restrictions.
The operations of the company were affected due to lockdown imposed in last week of March and it gradually restarted operations with some factories considering order book and available work force, adhering to the safety norms prescribed by Government of India.
The company has taken conscious decision through balance uninterrupted operations and ensuring a safe working environment. To ensure this, critical staffs have been asked to report to work at their locations. It has also made necessary arrangements to ensure that these staffs are safe and comfortable at work.
Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd ended at Rs114.60, down by Rs0.8 or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs115.40 on the BSE.
