Harvard Law School Professor to head IIM-A

1983 batch IIMA alumnus , Ashish Nanda will take on the role of Director-designate at IIM Ahemdabad

Ashish Nanda, a professor at Harvard Law School, is set to head India's top business school Indian Institute of Management - Ahemdabad. He will be take on the role of Director at India's most coveted management institution. Nanda will officially take over at IIM-A on Sept. 2, said reports.

An alumnus of 1983 batch of IIMA, Prof. Nanda is a Robert Braucher Professor of Practice at Harvard Law School. He is a Gold Medalist from both, IIT - Delhi and IIM - Ahmedabad. He completed his M.A. in Economics and Ph.D. from Harvard University and has been teaching courses in Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School. He is faculty director of Executive Education and research director at Program on the Legal Profession at Harvard Law School.
