HCL Tech, Bajaj Fin to enter; Wipro, Adani Ports to move out from Sensex w.e.f. December 24

On the Sensex 50 index, Bharti Infratel, Lupin and HPCL would have made way for Bajaj Finserv, Britannia Industries and JSW Steel.

HCL Technologies and Bajaj Finance will be included in BSE Sensex from December 24, while Wipro and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones Ltd will be dropped from the Sensex, as per BSE website.

Similarly, Edelweiss Financial Services entered the BSE 100 index, replacing Power Finance Corp, the BSE filing added.

On the Sensex 50 index, Bharti Infratel, Lupin and HPCL would have made way for Bajaj Finserv, Britannia Industries and JSW Steel.

Further, changes have been made in various other indices, including Sensex Next 50, BSE 200 and BSE 500 and sectoral indices such as bankex and Teck.

Asia Index Pvt Ltd is a 50-50 partnership company between S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC and BSE. The index provider has also effected 13 changes to the BSE 500 and three to the BSE 200.
