Accordingly, 24 workmen will continue to be in lay off from July 11, 2021, to September 10, 2021.
In a separate filing, the company said, that its unit situated at Budihyal (unit-15) has extended the lay-off period for 39 workmen out of 63 workmen for a period for 60 days. Accordingly, all 39 workmen will continue to be in lay off from July 5, 2021 to September 4, 2021.
The company had laid off its workmen at the Hirehalli, Tumkur and Budihyal plants from June 12, 2020, as a temporary arrangement due to Covid-19 impact and has sought many extensions form the concerned labour department thereafter.
Many workmen at Govenahalli unit are also under suspension since June 15, 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic impact.
During early trade on Tuesday, Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd was trading flat at Rs19 per piece on the BSE.
