Linde India ends lower after Subhabrata Ghosh resigns as CFO

The company said its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Subhabrata Ghosh has resigned to pursue a career opportunity outside the company.

Shares of Linde India fell after the company said its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Subhabrata Ghosh has resigned to pursue a career opportunity outside the company.

“This is to inform you that Mr. Subhabrata Ghosh, Chief Financial Officer of the Company has tendered his resignation to pursue a career opportunity outside the Company. The last working day of Mr. Ghosh will be 16 October 2020 and accordingly, he will cease to be the Chief Financial Officer of the Company with effect from the close of business hours on October 16, 2020,” the company said.

The appointment of new Chief Financial Officer to succeed Mr Subhabrata Ghosh will be considered by the Board of Directors at its next meeting to be held in the month of November 2020, Linde India said in the press note.

Linde India Ltd ended at Rs778.45, down by Rs42.2 or 5.14% from its previous closing of Rs820.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs837.45 and touched a high and low of Rs837.45 and Rs774.45 respectively.
