Novartis India standalone net profit rises 43% in Q4; stock ends ~6% lower

The board have approved recommended of final dividend of Rs10/- per Equity share of Rs5/- each for the year ended March 31, 2021, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.

Novartis India posted a standalone net profit of Rs9.70cr, which was up by 43.07% in the quarter ended March 2021. The company posted a net profit of Rs6.78cr during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

The sales increased by 5.97% to Rs99.29cr in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs93.70cr during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

The board have approved recommended final dividend of Rs10/- per Equity share of Rs5/- each for the year ended March 31, 2021, subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company.

The stock ended at Rs815.45 down by Rs51.9 or 5.98% from its previous closing of Rs867.35 on the BSE.vThe scrip opened at Rs881 and touched a high and low of Rs883.35 and Rs797.35 respectively.
