Reliance Industries invests Rs1 lakh in equity shares of Reliance New Solar Energy

Reliance Industries Ltd has invested Rs1,00,000 in cash in 10,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each of “Reliance New Solar Energy Limited” (RNSEL), a newly incorporated wholly owned subsidiary.

RNSEL is incorporated to undertake activities relating to solar energy. RNSEL is yet to commence its business operations.

Accordingly, the investment in RNSEL does not fall within related party transaction and the promoter/ promoter group/ group companies do not have any interest in RNSEL. 

At around 12:05 PM, Reliance Industries was trading at Rs2,070.60 apiece down by Rs0.9 or 0.04% from its previous closing of Rs2,071.50 apiece on the BSE.
