has done his Engineering with Electrical & Electronics degrees & MBA from Madras University. Shiva began his career with Larsen & Toubro ECC Construction Group in 1981 as a project engineer. Here, he was responsible for automating the design and engineering for Railway electrification projects and worked on the commissioning of a cement plant and a fertilizer project.
Joining Siemens Chennai in 1986 as a project engineer responsible for cement projects, from 1990 - 91 he was delegated to Siemens Germany for technology transfer for cement automation to Siemens India. With a mandate to establish a new department for services in 1993, Shiva held the position of Chief Manager Industrial projects for Siemens Delhi between 1995 to 1998. Between 1998 to 2005, he managed the Metals, Mining and Paper businesses for Siemens India. Shiva's next assignment was as CEO, Industrial Solutions and Services Division of Siemens India after which he went on to become the Head of Water Technologies for South East Asia and India.

Are you in race for bigger orders in cement, industrial boilers and bulk material handling segments?
We are fully prepared to serve various core industries such as Cement, Power and Bulk material handling segments. We are continuously improving our solutions in these segments which provide great benefits to our customers. For example, we have recently introduced "Twin Wagon Tippler" in the market which helps to double the productivity as the turnaround time gets cut by 50 per cent.
In the power segment we offer CFBC boilers with our unique cold cyclone technology. The CFBC boiler can burn variety of fuels like coal, lignite, pet coke etc. These boilers offer multiple benefits in performance / efficiency while meeting stringent emission standards. Our CFBC Boilers require least auxiliary power thereby optimizing and offering end users higher output for their use.

Are you planning to focus on domestic market?
We have recently bagged multiple deals worth over Rs. 1000 crore from three leading national and international business conglomerates.
These orders involve delivery and installation of equipments from our Mining & Bulk Material Handling and Boiler & Power Plant divisions.
We plan to concentrate on the domestic market and also increase our footprint in the export market. Accordingly, we are targeting a decent growth target in both in domestic as well as export market.
Brief us about your manufacturing facilities?
The company has two modern manufacturing facilities in Pune and Hyderabad. We have regional office in all the 4 metros in India.
What is your revenue mix in terms of export and domestic business?
All our four business verticals Sugar, Cement, Mining and material handling and Power are keys contributors to our export business.
The export business has been a part of our overall business for many years now as our products and solutions are well accepted in the international market. The advantage of ThyssenKrupp India is that we can offer the best in class German design and quality with an Indian price advantage.
With this, strategy we plan to achieve our exports to about 25% of our total business. However, our commitment to domestic business will continue to remain.
